City of West Chicago Civil Service Commission issued the following announcement on May 1.
The West Chicago Civil Service Commission and The City of West Chicago are accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. Applications are required and available at iosolutions.com. Only the first 200 applications will be accepted. The application deadline is Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. Please note applications are not available or accepted at the City West Chicago.
You must meet the following minimum requirements:
A Citizen of the United States and/or a citizen of the United States at the time of the examination;
High School graduate or equivalent (GED);
Possess a Valid Driver’s License;
Be 20 years of age and have successfully completed two (2) years of law enforcement studies at an accredited college or university. Other applicants not having such must be 21 years of age. Applicants shall be under 35 years of age unless the applicant qualifies for an exemption as specified in Illinois Compiled Statutes, Chapter 65, Section 5/10-1-7 (j) of an Act entitled Civil Service in Cities.
