Analysis: Oak Brook pays $3.98 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Oak Brook Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 80.4 percent of the $1,901,111 the Oak Brook Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $3.98 for every $1 from pension members, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Oak Brook contributed $1,527,927 to the fund, which saw a $211,507 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $383,238, or 20.2 percent, in 2016.
