DuPage County CDC Executive Committee met November 7.

Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:

1. Call To Order

11:35 am meeting was called to order by Chairman Tim Elliott at 11:31 am.

2. Roll Call

Present: Anderson, Bastian, Berley, Chaplin, Chassee (11:33 am), Chrisse, Elliott, Grill, Krucek, Tornatore, Wiley

Absent: Grasso

Staff Present: Mary Keating, Community Services Director; Jennifer Chan, Community Development Administrator; Christopher Ragona, Community Development Manager; Julie Hamlin, Sr. Community Development Specialist; Barb Temborius, Community Development Specialist; Therese Witkus, Community Development Specialist; Dorin Fera, Community Development Specialist; Tom Schwertman, Community Development Specialist; Ben Leitschuh, Community Development Specialist, and Nicole Rashan, Principal Account Clerk.

State’s Attorney - Patrick Collins.

Others Present: Dave Neary, Executive Director - DuPage Habitat for Humanity; Joan Olson, Chief Communications Officer - DuPage County; Mark Olson, Director of Finance & Revenue - DuPage County Health Department; Dennis Brennan, External Affairs Manager - DuPage County Health Department, and Dawn Dina, Management Analyst - DuPage Mayors and Managers Conference.

3. Public Comment

There was no public comment.

4. Approval Of Minutes

A. CDC - Executive Committee - Regular Meeting - Sep 5, 2017 11:35 AM

The Minutes were amended and accepted with the following change: Colonel Wiley was absent due to Military duty.

On a voice vote, the motion passed.

Result: Accepted As Amended [Unanimous]

Mover: Elizabeth Chaplin, District 2

Seconder: Patrick Grill, Vice Chair

Ayes: Anderson, Bastian, Berley, Chaplin, Chassee, Chrisse, Elliott, Grill, Krucek, Tornatore, Wiley

Absent: Grasso

5. Action Items

A. Action Item -- Recommendation to approve the transfer of liens CD93-12, CD05-20G, and CD06-24H from the National Alliance Mental Health Institute (NAMI) to the DuPage Health Department as part of the acquisition of 22W666 Hackberry, Glen Ellyn and 408 Braemar, Naperville to maintain the use of each property as a group home for persons with disabilities. There was no discussion.

On a voice vote, the motion passed.

Result: Approved [Unanimous]

Mover: Elizabeth Chaplin, District 2

Seconder: Patrick Grill, Vice Chair

Ayes: Anderson, Bastian, Berley, Chaplin, Chassee, Chrisse, Elliott, Grill, Krucek, Tornatore, Wiley

Absent: Grasso

6. Other Business There was no other business.

7. Adjournment

Chaplin made the motion, seconded by Grill, to adjourn at 11:33 am.

On a voice vote, the motion passed.
