City of Aurora Planning Council met May 16.

Here is the agenda provided by the Council:

Call to Order

Mr. Sieben called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m.

Roll Call

The following members were present: Mr. Sieben, Mrs. Vacek, Mr. Minnella, Mrs. Morgan, Mr. Broadwell, Mr. Feltman, Mr. Beneke, Mr. Curley and Mr. Cross.

Others Present

Others Present: Mike Frankino (Fox Metro) and Cadence Peterson (Invest Aurora).

Approval of Minutes

17-00427 Approval of the Minutes for the DST Staff Council (Planning Council) meeting of May 9, 2017.

A motion was made by Mr. Minnella, seconded by Mr. Cross, that the minutes be approved and filed. The motion carried by voice vote.

Agenda

17-00187 Requesting approval of a Final Plan for Lot 10 of Savannah Crossing Subdivision at 1382 Butterfield Road located between Church Road and Kirk Road for a Restaurant with a drive-through facility (2530) (N3 Real Estate - 17-00187 / BA35/4-16.113-Fpn - JM - Ward 1)

Mrs. Morgan said there is nothing to report.

Mr. Sieben said I’ve been told by the property owner that they may have withdrawn. Jill, what I would do maybe is if you could contact them and see if that is the case and we’ll need a letter if that’s what’s happening.

17-00384 Requesting to rezone the property at 538 S. Broadway being the southeast corner of S. Broadway and Seminary Avenue from R-3 One Family Dwelling District to NC Neighborhood Commercial District (Michael Bader - 17-00384 / AU28/2-17.041-Rz - JM - Ward 4)

Mrs. Morgan said this is moving forward. I got all the information out for the public notice. Hopefully they will get that back to us and we will be moving forward for the public hearing.

Mr. Sieben said do we have a date?

Mrs. Morgan said the June 7th Planning Commission.
