ED-R-0146-17 RESOLUTION -- Acceptance & Appropriation of the Illinois department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity WIOA Rapid Response Layoffs & Closings Grant PY16 Agreement No. 16-651006 Company 5000- Accounting Unit 2840 $18,655 

7. ACTION ITEMS A. Action Item -- Coordinator, DuPage Workforce Board to travel to Normal, IL from May 4, 2017 through May 5, 2017, to attend Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity monthly meetings to discuss Federal and State policies, allocations, & other issues pertaining to the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act. Expenses to include transportation, lodging and meals for an approximate total of $435. B. Action Item -- Coordinator, DuPage Workforce Board to travel to Springfield, IL from April 5, 2017 through April 7, 2017, to attend Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity monthly meetings to discuss Federal and State policies, allocations, & other issues pertaining to the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act. Expenses to include transportation, lodging and meals for an approximate total of $447.

C. Action Item -- Coordinator, DuPage Workforce Board to travel to Springfield, IL from February 1, 2017 through February 3, 2017, to attend Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity monthly meetings to discuss Federal and State policies, allocations, & other issues pertaining to the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act. Expenses to include transportation, lodging and meals for an approximate total of $443. D. Action Item -- Director, DuPage Workforce Development to travel to Springfield, IL from February 1, 2017 through February 3, 2017, to attend Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity monthly meetings to discuss Federal and State policies, allocations, & other issues pertaining to the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act. Grant Funded. Expenses to include transportation, lodging and meals for an approximate total of $472. E. Action Item -- Technical/Youth Services Manager, DuPage Workforce Board to travel to Springfield from January 18, 2017 through January 19, 2017 , the Illinois Department of Commerce & the Illinois Workforce Partnership have coordinated to offer two days of training on GATA and indirect cost rates. Training is targeted to Workforce area staff that administer programs under WIOA. Expenses to include transportation, lodging and meals for an approximate total of $391.41 F. Action Item -- Senior Accountant, DuPage Workforce Board to travel to Springfield from January 18, 2017 through January 19, 2017 , the Illinois Department of Commerce & the Illinois Workforce Partnership have coordinated to offer two days of training on GATA and indirect cost rates. Training is targeted to Workforce area staff that administer programs under WIOA. Expenses to include lodging and meals for an approximate total of $171.
