The College of DuPage football team moved to 2-0 this season after its 48-0 win over the Wisconsin-Oshkosh junior varsity Sunday, Sept. 4.
It was the first road game of the season for the Chaparrals.
According to the CoD football page on njcaa.org, the Chaparrals held a huge 565-127 advantage in total yards, with 316 passing yards and 249 rushing yards.
Tavion Pauldo and Evan Scales split quarterbacking duties for CoD. Pauldo was 10-of-12 passing for 179 yards and two touchdowns, while Scales was 9-of-14 passing for 150 yards and two touchdowns. Neither passer threw an interception.
CoD's Marcus Jester had 58 yards on eight carries, while Jordan Brown had 50 yards and two touchdowns on seven carries. Arturo Romero had five catches for 101 yards and a touchdown.
On defense for the Chaparrals, Stephen Kemp had a team-high six tackles, including one for loss. Shannon Hill had a sack and a fumble recovery, while Myles Plummer had two pass breakups.
The Chaparrals are back on the road Sunday, Sept. 11, for a 1 p.m. game at the Wisconsin-Whitewater JV. Last season, CoD beat the UW-Whitewater JV 48-14 on Nov. 1, 2015, in Glen Ellyn.
