The St. Charles, Illinois City Council announced last week that it has appointed Jennifer McMahon as its new director of human resources.
McMahon previously worked as an assistant city administrator for Warrenville, where she acted as lead negotiator for the management team in the collective bargaining agreement with three city unions. She also managed the risk management and employee compensation programs and led employee training and coaching programs.
“We conducted a comprehensive search of candidates throughout the area before choosing Jennifer," Mark Koenen, city administrator or the City of St Charles, said. "She has the experience and management background to maintain the high standards of employee recruitment, fair and equitable negotiations and our award-winning, cost-saving employee wellness program.”
McMahon graduated from University of Illinois at Chicago with a master's degree in urban planning and policy.
