The St. Charles, Illinois Building Board of Review met last week to review several code amendments.
The amendments focused on the 2015 International Fuel and Gas Code (IFGC).
The board also discussed the 2015 International Mechanical Code (IMC); the 2015 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC); the 2015 International Swimming Pool and Spa Code (ISPSC); the 2015 International Existing Building Code (IEBC); and the 2015 Illinois State Plumbing Code.
The board interprets and administers city ordinances governing electric, plumbing, building, fire/life safety and similar regulations. It also provides technical guidance to the City Council.
