An update on a proposed new indoor sports facility will be on the agenda at Elmhurst's Development, Planning and Zoning Committee meeting at 7 p.m. Monday.
The committee plans to receive an update on the request for proposal (RFP) for the proposed facility, as it prepares to enter the next step in the planning process.
The agenda also includes a discussion of drinking-water contamination concerns tied to the use of polyethylene (PEX) plumbing systems, required in the city’s green building codes, as well as a proposed ordinance that would require residents to install gates in front-yard walls or fences and window wells.
The meeting will be held in Conference Room 1 at City Hall, 209 N. York St.
