Applications are now being accepted by the village of Westmont Board of Fire and Police Commissioners for probationary police officers.
The board has established an eligibility list for full- and part-time police officers. Currently, the size of Westmont's police force stands at 40 sworn officers.
“We want to make sure that we publicize this opportunity so that we are interviewing the best candidates possible,” Fire and Police Commissioner Joe Hrncirik said. "Applications will be available online beginning Monday, July 13.”
