Report: Itasca spent $11,558 per student in 2016-17
Spending per pupil at Itasca School District 10 is down 2 percent from five years ago, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of district finances.
The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Dupage County school district spent $11,759 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $11,558 in 2016-17.
The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 933 to 980.
Itasca's spending in 2016-17 was 11 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
