Q4 2018 parolees recap: who was paroled in Glendale Heights?
There were two offenders released on parole during the fourth quarter that live in Glendale Heights zip codes, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by DuPage Policy Journal.
The data shows that both of the released offenders in Glendale Heights were men. The younger parolee is a 38-year-old man sentenced for crimes involving drugs in 2018, and the other is a 42-year-old man sentenced for homicide in 2005.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest is Angel Montemayor. He was convicted of homicide in 2005 when he was 29 years old. He is now 42.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
