Naperville City Council meeting agenda released for July 21 session
The agenda for the upcoming Naperville City Council meeting, scheduled for July 21 at 7 p.m., is now available. The meeting will be held in the Council Chambers at the Naperville Municipal Center, located at 400 S. Eagle St.
The City Council meeting will be broadcast on WCNC (Channel 6 for Astound, Channel 10 for Comcast, and Channel 99 for AT&T U-verse). In addition, meetings and workshops are streamed live and available on-demand through the City’s streaming media platform and Naperville’s official YouTube channel at youtube.com/OfficialNapervilleIL.
Members of the public may provide comments in several ways. Individuals can address the City Council in person during the meeting, but must sign up online using the City’s speaker sign-up form by 6:30 p.m. on the day of the meeting. Alternatively, individuals may call the Community Services Department at (630) 305-5300 by the same deadline to be added to the speaker list. On-site speaker sign-up will not be permitted. The call-in option allows individuals to sign up only for themselves, not for others or groups. Written comments or positions of support or opposition can also be submitted through the online sign-up form until 4 p.m. on the day of the meeting. All speakers, comments, and names of those who submitted position statements will be shared with the City Council and posted on the City’s website at https://naperville.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx on the day of the meeting.
The City advises that upon submission of the online registration form, participants should ensure they receive an on-screen confirmation message. Those who do not receive confirmation or have questions about the process are encouraged to contact the Community Services Department at (630) 305-5300. Individuals requiring accommodations to participate in the meeting should contact the department at least 48 hours in advance, either by phone or by emailing [email protected].
More information about the City Council, meeting agendas, and the online speaker sign-up form is available through the City’s website. The City Manager’s Office can also be reached at (630) 420-6031 for additional details.
