Max Vaisvila helps Northern Illinois to 9-6 win over Wofford in NCAA Division I baseball

Former Willowbrook High School standout Max Vaisvila played for the Northern Illinois Huskies as they beat the Wofford Terriers 9-6 in an NCAA Division I baseball game at 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22.

The matchup, held at Russell C. King Field, marked their first meeting with the Terriers this season.

Vaisvila pitched 4.1 innings, allowing five earned runs, issuing four walks, and striking out nine.

Northern Illinois will face the Lindenwood Lions next at Lou Brock Sports Complex on Friday, Feb. 27, at 1 p.m.
