LIV Golf UK Presented by JCB 2026 is set to begin on July 23 at JCB Golf & Country Club in Rocester, England, where 57 players will compete over four days in both individual and team formats. The event marks the league’s third consecutive edition at the Staffordshire venue, with gates opening at 10:00 each day and shotgun starts scheduled for 13:15 Thursday through Saturday and 13:05 on Sunday.

Defending individual champion Joaquin Niemann returns following his 2025 victory, while Legion XIII, captained by Jon Rahm and featuring Tyrrell Hatton, Tom McKibbin, and Caleb Surratt, seeks a third consecutive UK team title. Home support will focus on the all-UK Majesticks Golf Club lineup of Lee Westwood, Ian Poulter, Laurie Canter, and Sam Horsfield. Niemann said, “It’s obviously nice to be back here in JCB. It’s a great golf course, good setup. Conditions are amazing. JCB does a great job here maintaining the golf course the best they can. I love playing here. I feel like it’s a course that really sets up really nicely for my game off the tee. It would mean a lot. We’re coming to the end of the season pretty quick. We’re definitely playing great golf, the four of us. I feel like this is our part of the year, and we’re just going to try our best to deliver,” according to Joaquin Niemann.

Hatton, a member of Legion XIII, said, “Across us four players, it’s not really too many weaknesses, so most courses we go to, if we play well, we’ll give ourselves a chance of winning. I think [the change to the 6th hole] will probably make the hole play a little bit better. It’ll probably be another birdie opportunity, so if that helps scoring, it will be a little bit more exciting for people watching,” according to Tyrrell Hatton.

The tournament week began with the LIV Golf Pro-Am in Association with Bahri, which welcomed celebrity guests and partners for a preview of the course. Notable participants included McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown, professional darts player Luke Humphries, England rugby players Anthony Watson and Ollie Watson, and Olympic swimmer Mark Foster. The event provided an opportunity for players and guests to experience the course ahead of competition.

Fans attending the event can expect a festival-style atmosphere, with live music, family entertainment, and interactive experiences across the Fan Village, Family Fairway, and hospitality areas. Saturday’s After Play concert will feature Chase & Status. The venue will also offer food and beverage options, partner activations, and family services, including accessibility support. Children aged 12 and under receive complimentary admission with a paying adult.

LIV Golf, now in its fourth full season, features 13 teams and 57 players from 21 countries, competing across 10 countries and five continents. The league aims to expand the sport globally and enhance the fan experience through music, culture, and entertainment, according to LIV Golf. JCB, the presenting partner, is the world’s third largest manufacturer of construction equipment by volume, with 22 plants on four continents and more than 19,000 employees worldwide. The JCB Golf & Country Club opened in 2018 and is located adjacent to the company’s world headquarters.
