Lakeland Flying Tigers fall to Daytona Tortugas 7-1; Jude Warwick records 2 hits

The Lakeland Flying Tigers, featuring former Downers Grove North High School standout Jude Warwick, were defeated 7-1 by the Daytona Tortugas in their MiLB game held Saturday, June 27, at 6:35 p.m.

The matchup occurred at Jackie Robinson Ballpark and marked the 11th game between the teams this season, with Lakeland now trailing Daytona 5-6 in the season series.

Warwick contributed offensively by going 2-for-4 at the plate, striking out twice and stranding 2 runners.

The Flying Tigers are slated to play the Tortugas again at Jackie Robinson Ballpark on Sunday, June 28.
