Graduates earn 195 degrees, certificates from National University of Health Sciences
About 85.1 percent of the 195 degrees and certificates handed out by the National University of Health Sciences in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Lombard conferred 134 doctor's degrees and 20 master's degrees in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.
But the single most popular program was for a doctor's degree in Chiropractic. Data shows the school gave out 105 doctor's degrees in Chiropractic, followed by 29 doctor's degrees in Naturopathic Medicine/Naturopathy and 29 bachelor's degrees in Biomedical Sciences, General.
The university enrolled 710 students for 2016-17, including 93 in undergraduate programs and 617 in graduate programs.
