Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Universal Spa Training Academy

Tuition and fees was unchanged for 2017-18 at Universal Spa Training Academy, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

Illinois students paid $15,400 to attend the private for-profit school in both the 2016-17 and 2017-18 academic years.

Data shows 78 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 92 students received grants or scholarships totaling $270,415 and 116 students took out student loans totaling more than $623,139.

Including all undergraduates, 132 students used grants or scholarships totaling $375,001. Another 156 took out $1.06 million in federal student loans.
