Cole Peaslee’s team falls 5-1 to Fairmont State on March 6

Former Wheaton Warrenville South High School standout Cole Peaslee and his Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers suffered a 5-1 defeat against the Fairmont State Fighting Falcons in NCAA Division II baseball on Friday, March 6, at 12 p.m.

Panther Park served as the venue for the matchup, which marked the teams’ first meeting this season.

Peaslee pitched five innings, surrendering four earned runs with one walk while tallying five strikeouts.

The Panthers are set to play the Fighting Falcons again on Saturday, March 7, at 12 p.m. at Panther Park.
