Analysis: Lombard pays $3.87 for every $1 pensioners contribute to York Center Fire Protection District
Taxpayers contributed 79.5 percent of the $151,794 the York Center Fire Protection District brought in 2018, or $3.87 for every $1 from pension members, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.
In all, Lombard contributed $120,630 to the fund, which saw a $11,541 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $31,164, or 20.5 percent, in 2018.
