For the week ending July 18, 2026, Lisle had one scam report, according to Better Business Bureau.

No scam reports were listed for the city the previous week.

One report included dollar amounts, totaling $106 in reported losses.

The largest reported loss for the week was $106 and involved an online purchase. The report stated: "I ordered three quilted baskets from denalar Denver CO CO. I received them but they were not quilted. They were simply printed on fabric and were poorly made. I tried to contact the service number online and they asked me to send them pictures and numbers of the items which I did. They responded that they couldn't open up the images. I sent them to another email to check and they were able to be opened. I have a feeling this company is from overseas (China?). I will have to simply throw away the items. It was very frustrating!"

BBB Scam Tracker lets consumers search reported scams and share their experiences to help others spot similar schemes. The BBB says it reviews each report before publication and does not publicly display the reporter’s name or personal contact information.

Fraud reports have continued to show large financial losses nationwide. The Federal Trade Commission said consumers reported losing more than $12.5 billion to fraud in 2024, a 25% increase from the previous year.
