York Community High School standout Lauren Derkowski’s college team won in NCAA Division I softball game on Tuesday, March 4

On Tuesday, March 4, former York Community High School standout Lauren Derkowski’s current college team, the Michigan Wolverines, won 2-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the North Carolina Tar Heels.

The game took place at Anderson Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Tar Heels this season.

The Wolverines’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 5 at 5 p.m. at Max R. Joyner Family Stadium against East Carolina Pirates.
