York Community High School standout Lauren Derkowski’s college team won in NCAA Division I softball game on Friday, Feb. 7

On Friday, Feb. 7, former York Community High School standout Lauren Derkowski’s current college team, the Michigan Wolverines, won 1-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the South Florida Bulls.

The game took place at USF Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Bulls this season.

The Wolverines’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8 at 10 a.m. at USF Softball Stadium against Illinois State Redbirds.
