Winston-Salem Dash claim 10-4 victory over Greensboro Grasshoppers as George Wolkow contributes

On Sunday, June 21, at 2 p.m., the Winston-Salem Dash—featuring former Downers Grove North High School standout George Wolkow—picked up a 10-4 win in their Minor League Baseball game against the Greensboro Grasshoppers.

The matchup was held at Truist Stadium and marked the 18th time the teams faced each other this season; the Dash remain behind in the series, with Greensboro leading 10-8.

Wolkow finished 1-for-5 at the plate, tallying 1 run, 2 strikeouts, and leaving 3 runners stranded.

The Dash’s upcoming game is scheduled for Tuesday, June 23, at Fifth Third Park, where they will face the Hub City Spartanburgers.
