George Wolkow’s Winston-Salem Dash beat Asheville Tourists 10-4 on Sunday, July 12

Sunday, July 12, at 1:05 p.m., former Downers Grove North High School standout George Wolkow’s current team, the Winston-Salem Dash, beat the Asheville Tourists 10-4 in a MiLB game.
The game was played at HomeTrust Park. It was the 12th meeting between the teams this season, with the Dash holding an 8-4 advantage in the season series against the Tourists.
Wolkow went 1-for-3, scored 2 runs, recorded 1 RBI, drew 2 walks, struck out 1 time and left 3 runners on base.
The Dash's next game is scheduled for Friday, July 17, at Bowling Green Ballpark against the Bowling Green Hot Rods.
