Wheaton Police report arrests and multiple incidents for week ending November 9

Between November 3 and November 9, 2025, the Wheaton Police Department reported several arrests and incidents in its weekly crime summary.

Michael E. Donaldson, age 62, of Wheaton, was arrested for domestic battery at his residence on November 7 at 3:22 p.m. He was taken to the DuPage County Sheriff's Office (DCSO) and discharged later that evening.

Jessica L. Bergmann, age 34, also from Wheaton, was arrested in Lombard on November 7 at 11:38 a.m. She faces charges of criminal sexual assault, aggravated criminal sexual abuse, and attempted aggravated criminal sexual abuse. She was taken to DCSO and discharged before midnight.

Anthony R. Dicharia, age 27 of Westmont, was arrested on theft charges with an outstanding warrant in Westmont on November 6 at 11:19 a.m. He received a notice to appear and was released within an hour.

Brian J. Williams, age 45, was arrested on a warrant at 100 W Front St., Wheaton on November 5 at 11:47 a.m., then transferred to DCSO shortly after.

Michael B. Howard, age 44 of Chicago, faced retail theft charges with an outstanding warrant after being arrested at 900 W Liberty Dr., Wheaton on November 5 at 10:05 a.m.; he received a notice to appear and was released the same morning.

Tzadok Y. Goodson, age 25 of Chicago, was charged with retail theft after being apprehended near Roosevelt Rd./County Farm Rd. on November 3 at about 5 p.m.; he also received a notice to appear.

Patricia E. Wilde, age 60 of Wheaton, was arrested for DUI at the intersection of Liberty Dr. on November 3 just after eight in the morning; she too received a notice to appear.

The public is reminded that all individuals listed are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court proceedings: "The public is reminded that a complaint contains only charges and is not proof of the defendant’s guilt. Constitutionally, a defendant is presumed innocent and is entitled to a fair trial in which it is the government’s burden to prove his or her guilt beyond a reasonable doubt."

The weekly crime report also included several incidents:
- At Ditka’s Grill (225 W Front St.), a cell phone theft occurred between approximately eight-thirty and nine-twelve p.m.
- At Jewel (2031 N Main St.), there was retail theft late in the evening.
- A purse theft took place between two and four p.m. on October 31 at Chili's Grill (240 Danada Sq W).
- On October 29 in the Surrey Dr area, an individual fell victim to fraud after responding to someone posing as “Geek Squad” via email.
- A vehicle was stolen from College Ave sometime between November 4 and November 6.
- An identity theft incident occurred when someone used another person’s information to open credit accounts.
- Two burglaries involving stolen fragrances were reported—one each at Ulta (112 Danada Sq W) around noon and Nordstrom Rack (71 Danada Sq W) around two p.m., both on November 9.
