Wheaton North High School standout Erin Metz’s college team won in NCAA Division I softball game on Sunday, Feb. 9

On Sunday, Feb. 9, former Wheaton North High School standout Erin Metz’s current college team, the Valparaiso Beacons, won 7-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Detroit Mercy Titans.

The game took place at The Dome at Parkway Bank Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Titans this season.

The Beacons’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 3 p.m. at PC Softball Complex against Monmouth Hawks.
