Wheaton North High School standout Erin Metz’s college team won in NCAA Division I softball game on Sunday, Feb. 9

On Sunday, Feb. 9, former Wheaton North High School standout Erin Metz’s current college team, the Valparaiso Beacons, won 12-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Green Bay Phoenix.

The game took place at The Dome at Parkway Bank Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Phoenix this season.

The Beacons’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 9 at 1:55 p.m. at The Dome at Parkway Bank Sports Complex against Detroit Mercy Titans.
