The median sale price of a home sold in August 2019 in West Chicago rose by $5,000 while total sales decreased by 34.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2019, there were 19 homes sold, with a median sale price of $220,000 - a 2.3% increase over the $215,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 29 homes sold in West Chicago in August 2018.

The median sales tax in West Chicago for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $6,023, approximately 2.7% of the median home sale price for August 2019.
