West Chicago Community High School standout Ryan Schmidt’s college team won in NCAA Division III baseball game on Friday, March 7

On Friday, March 7, former West Chicago Community High School standout Ryan Schmidt’s current college team, the Dominican Stars, won 9-7 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Mount St. Joseph Mountain Lions.

The game took place at Lake Myrtle Sports Complex. This was their second matchup against the Mountain Lions this season.

The Stars’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 9 a.m. at Lake Myrtle Sports Complex against Albion Britons.
