West Chicago Community High School standout Ryan Schmidt’s college team lost in NCAA Division III baseball game on Monday, March 3

On Monday, March 3, former West Chicago Community High School standout Ryan Schmidt’s current college team, the Dominican Stars, lost 8-5 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Dubuque Spartans.

The game took place at Lake Myrtle Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Spartans this season.

The Stars’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, March 6 at 9 a.m. at Lake Myrtle Sports Complex against Northland Lumberjacks.
