Wednesday, April 16: Lake Park High School standout Lexi Szostak’s college team loses to Illinois Fighting Illini

On Wednesday, April 16, former Lake Park High School standout Lexi Szostak’s current college team, the Valparaiso Beacons, lost 5-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Illinois Fighting Illini.

The game took place at Eichelberger Field. This was their first matchup against the Fighting Illini this season.

The Beacons’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, April 17 at 5 p.m. at E.S. Rose Park against Belmont Bruins.
