Tuesday, April 1: York Community High School standout Chris Danko’s college team loses to Illinois Fighting Illini

On Tuesday, April 1, former York Community High School standout Chris Danko’s current college team, the Illinois State Redbirds, lost 8-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Illinois Fighting Illini.

The game took place at Illinois Field. This was their first matchup against the Fighting Illini this season.

The Redbirds’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 12:05 p.m. at Emory G. Bauer Field against Valparaiso Beacons.
