Trine Thunder fall 9-4 to Manchester Spartans; Dylan Jenkins pitches 6 innings

On Sunday, March 15, at 1 p.m., Dylan Jenkins, a former Willowbrook High School standout, and the Trine Thunder were defeated 9-4 by the Manchester Spartans in NCAA Division III baseball play.

The teams met at Jannen Field for their third contest of the season. In their prior matchup on Saturday, March 14, the Thunder took an 8-4 loss to the Spartans.

Jenkins gave up one earned run over six innings, issuing two walks while striking out five.

Trine is set to face the Kalamazoo Hornets at Woodworth Field on Friday, March 27, at 4 p.m. for their next game.
