Thursday, March 6: Downers Grove South High School standout Richie Sperando’s college team wins to Saint Mary's Cardinals

On Thursday, March 6, former Downers Grove South High School standout Richie Sperando’s current college team, the Concordia Chicago Cougars, won 4-2 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Saint Mary's Cardinals.

The game took place at Chain of Lakes Field. This was their first matchup against the Cardinals this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 3:30 p.m. at Lake Myrtle Sports Complex against Wartburg Knights.
