The third quarter of 2021: Dupage City experienced a 7.8% drop in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2021 in Dupage City fell by $12,000 while total sales increased by 62.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2021, there were 57 homes sold, with a median sale price of $141,000 - a 7.8% decrease over the $153,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 35 homes sold in Dupage City in the third quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Dupage City for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,009, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2021.
