Sunday, March 16: Lake Park High School standout Chris Worcester’s college team wins to Western Carolina Catamounts

On Sunday, March 16, former Lake Park High School standout Chris Worcester’s current college team, the Eastern Illinois Panthers, won 9-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Western Carolina Catamounts.

The game took place at Ronnie G. Childress Field at Hennon Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Catamounts this season.

The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 at 2 p.m. at Torii Hunter Baseball Complex against Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions.
