Sunday, July 5: Winston-Salem Dash beat Greenville Drive 8-3; Downers Grove North standout George Wolkow in lineup

On Sunday, July 5, at 2 p.m., the Winston-Salem Dash — the current team of former Downers Grove North High School standout George Wolkow — beat the Greenville Drive 8-3 in a MiLB game.
The game was played at Truist Stadium. It was the 12th meeting between the teams this season, with the Dash holding an 8-4 advantage in the season series against the Drive.
Wolkow went 1-for-4, scored one run, struck out twice and left one runner on base.
The Dash’s next game is scheduled for Tuesday, July 7, at HomeTrust Park against the Asheville Tourists.
