Sunday, Feb. 23: Downers Grove South High School standout Richie Sperando’s college team loses to Franklin Grizzlies

On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Downers Grove South High School standout Richie Sperando’s current college team, the Concordia Chicago Cougars, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Franklin Grizzlies.

The game took place at Center Grove High School. This was their first matchup against the Grizzlies this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 2 p.m. at Center Grove High School against North Park Vikings.
