Sunday, Feb. 23: Downers Grove South High School standout Ella Cushing’s college team loses to North Carolina State Wolfpack

On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Downers Grove South High School standout Ella Cushing’s current college team, the Illinois Fighting Illini, lost 4-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the North Carolina State Wolfpack.

The game took place at Dail Softball Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Wolfpack this season.

The Fighting Illini’s next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 2 p.m. at Eichelberger Field against Saint Louis Billikens.
