The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) will have a strong presence in the upcoming 2025 NCAA Division III Football Championship. Both North Central and Wheaton secured spots in the postseason, while WashU is set to compete in the Culver’s Isthmus Bowl.

North Central, holding a 10-0 record, enters the national tournament as the league champion with its fifth consecutive undefeated regular season and league title. The team has earned a first-round bye and will make its 17th appearance in the postseason. North Central is scheduled to host a second-round game at Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium on November 29 against either Hanover or Grove City.

Wheaton finished as runner-up with an 8-2 record and received an at-large bid for its 15th postseason appearance. The Thunder will host Crown, champions of the UMAC, in a first-round matchup on Saturday, November 22 at McCully Stadium. The winner will move on to face Wartburg in the second round on November 29. Last season, Wheaton won the Culver’s Isthmus Bowl before returning to NCAA play this year.

WashU also concluded its regular season at 8-2 and will participate in postseason play by competing in the Culver’s Isthmus Bowl for a third time. The Bears are scheduled to play Wisconsin–Stout on Saturday, November 22 at Bank of Sun Prairie Stadium following their win over Augustana.
