Elmhurst University senior Anna Kleszynski has been named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Student-Athlete of the Week in women’s basketball. The announcement was made Monday afternoon.

Kleszynski, who is from Saint John, Indiana, delivered strong performances at the McWilliams Classic in St. Louis. She averaged 23.5 points and 8.5 rebounds across two games during the event.

In Elmhurst’s 72–51 victory over Rose-Hulman on Friday, Kleszynski recorded 21 points and seven rebounds. The following day, she scored 26 points and collected 10 rebounds against host Washington University in St. Louis (WashU), despite an 83–70 loss. In that game, she made 11 out of 22 field goal attempts and converted three of her seven shots from beyond the arc.

Over the weekend, Kleszynski shot 54 percent from the floor (20-for-37), added three steals, and had only two turnovers.

The CCIW also recognized Carthage’s Grace Cord as Student-Athlete of the Week for November 11.
