Maureen Harty Executive Director | College Conference Of Wisconsin And Illinois
North Central’s Thomas Skokna, Wheaton’s Zeke Harris, and Illinois Wesleyan’s Will Nazha have been named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Football Student-Athletes of the Week.
Skokna was recognized for his offensive performance after recording 132 receiving yards and three touchdowns on seven receptions in North Central’s 76-14 win over Augustana. One of his touchdowns came from a 49-yard pass.
On defense, Harris earned honors with a total of 13 tackles—nine unassisted—in Wheaton's 28-24 victory against WashU. He also made an interception late in the game that stopped WashU's final offensive drive.
Nazha received recognition for special teams by returning three kickoffs for 166 yards, averaging 55.3 yards per return, including a 91-yard kickoff return for a touchdown during Illinois Wesleyan’s 49-21 win over North Park. This was his second kickoff return touchdown of the season. He also led his team with five catches and 80 receiving yards and scored another touchdown reception.
The CCIW continues to announce weekly honorees across offensive, defensive, and special teams categories throughout the football season.
