The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) has named Molly Roberts from Elmhurst as the Student-Athlete of the Week in Women’s Cross Country. The announcement was made on Tuesday.
Roberts achieved the fastest 6K time in the CCIW for the 2025 season last Friday, finishing second at the NCCXC Invitational with a personal best of 23:10.9. Her performance contributed to Elmhurst’s team result, as the Bluejays secured second place at St. James Farm Forest Preserve in Warrenville, Illinois.
The recognition is part of a weekly series highlighting outstanding performances in women’s cross country within the conference. Adriana Crabtree from Illinois Wesleyan was honored with this distinction on September 3.
"Molly Roberts ran the fastest 6K time in the CCIW during the 2025 season last Friday, placing second at the NCCXC Invitational with a time of 23:10.9. The performance marked her fastest career time," according to a statement from CCIW.
