7.10 Alderman Jensen moved to accept the report. Alderman Veremis seconded. Alderman Jensen spoke in support of the support while delivering the background information to council. Alderman Bram stated he supported the report, however had some inquiries that were answered by Alderman Jensen.

8.1 Report - Police Facility Project (PA&S)
Alderman Brennan moved to accept the report. Alderman Nardini seconded. Alderman Brennan delivered the history of the report to council highlighting the three options discussed since 2018. The report is for the first step in the design firm. There will be future involvement of council needed as the project continues.

9. Reports and Recommendations of Appointed and Elected Officials
Mayor Levin - The Mayor spoke in support of the police station report. He announced Elmhurst Junior Firefighter Academy Day for ages 14-20 on 4/26, 10am - 2pm at 910 N. Addison. Senior Community Conversations about senior resources will be held on Friday 5/2 10am - 1pm at the Rec Center on St. Charles Rd. The Mayor congratulated all elected officials from the April election. Swearing in ceremony will be held 5/5.
City Manager Grabowski - City Manager announced spring cleanup days remaining on Saturdays: For Thursday pickups 4/26, Friday pickups 5/3. Illinois Tollway will be closing Vallette St. under 294 on 4/16 for seven days.

Alderman Brennan moved to accept the ordinance. Alderman Nardini seconded. Alderman Brennan spoke in support of the ordinance and requested council to suspend the rules as there was a fifth Monday last month without a council meeting and the event is 4/9.

Alderman Bastedo moved to accept the ordinance. Alderman Cahill seconded. Alderman Cahill spoke in support of the ordinance and is requesting council to suspend the rules, so staff has the opportunity to quickly purchase to avoid potential rise in cost
