Bryan Moore Associate Executive Director | College Conference Of Wisconsin And Illinois
The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) has announced Carthage sophomore Cyriac Cayuela as the Men’s Tennis Student-Athlete of the Week. The announcement was made on Wednesday afternoon.
Cayuela, a native of Villeuneuve d'Ascq, France, has achieved six victories since February 10. His accomplishments include three singles wins and three doubles victories in matches against Wisconsin-Whitewater, MSOE, and DePauw. Notably, he secured two of his singles wins from the #6 position in the lineup, with another victory over DePauw from the #5 spot.
The CCIW has been recognizing outstanding performances throughout February. On February 11, Cole Phillips from Millikin was named Student-Athlete of the Week, followed by Myles Krzewinski from Carthage on February 5.
