Carthage remains fifth in AVCA rankings; NYU holds top spot

There was no change in the rankings of College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) teams in the latest national Top 20 list released by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA). Carthage maintained its position at fifth, Loras stayed at twelfth, and North Central remained eighteenth.

Carthage, with a record of 11-2, received 477 points. Loras, standing at 8-1, collected 282 points. North Central, with an 8-4 record, garnered 102 points.

NYU, boasting a perfect 15-0 record, was ranked first on Tuesday after securing 27 out of a possible 30 first-place votes. Southern Virginia followed in second place with a flawless 13-0 record and received the remaining three first-place votes.
