Illinois Wesleyan University's women's basketball team has achieved a significant position in the latest national rankings. The Titans, champions of the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW), have moved up to third place in the D3hoops.com poll and fourth in the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) rankings.

The team concluded their regular season with an impressive record of 24-1 overall and 15-1 within their league. This performance secured them the top seed for this week's CCIW Tournament. Last week, they secured victories on the road against North Central with a score of 79-55 and against Augustana with a score of 65-54.

In terms of points, D3hoops.com awarded Illinois Wesleyan 561 points, while the WBCA provided them with 220 points.

At the top of both polls are NYU and Bowdoin, maintaining perfect records of 24-0 and 25-0 respectively. Christopher Newport holds third place in the WBCA rankings.
