Alderman Brennan pulled item 7.8 and requested the item return to committee for further discussion, Alderman Irby pulled item 7.9, and Alderman Hill pulled item 7.26 from the consent agenda. Alderman Nardini, motioned to approve consent agenda minus items 7.8, 7.9, and 7.26. Alderman Brennan seconded.

7.9 Alderman Irby moved to approve the amendment to report 7.9 to add the cost of the line item new equipment and old equipment.
This motion never received a second.

The Mayor thanked all of the staff for their hard work on the Budget and explained that it is typical practice that staff prepare and present budgets in other towns.
8. Reports and Recommendations of Appointed and Elected Officials
Mayor
The Mayor announced the following:
He supports the Slow Down, Elmhurst! campaign and encouraged residents to obtain signs to place in their yards, not the right-of-way, at the Police Station.
York High School placed 2nd in the State of Illinois for Football.
The Holly Tolley begins December 7, 2024 from 12 pm to midnight.
Thank you to those that contributed to the Dan Gibbons Turkey Trot.
City Manager
The City Manager announced the following:
Open House on Funding and Planning of our Transportation System (Funding Deficit for Transportation in DuPage County), located at Carol Stream Village Hall on December 11, 2024 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The last leaf pick up is this week due to the closure of the landfills.
9. Other Business
Alderman Nardini congratulated the York Football team for their hard work at state.
