City of Elmhurst Committee of the Whole met Nov. 18

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

1. Call to Order - Mayor Levin called the meeting to order at 8:10pm.

Present: Emily Bastedo, Guido Nardini, Mike Brennan, Jacob Hill, Karen Sienko, Chris Jensen, Michael Bram, Noel Talluto, Jim Nudera and  Jennifer Veremis

Absent:Rex Irby, Marti Deuter, Brian Cahill & Tina Park

10 Present, 4 Absent

Also Present: Treasurer Curran, City Manager Grabowski, Assistant City Manager Johnson, Finance Director Coyle, Assistant Finance Director Bruns, IT Director Kravets and Kassondra Schref

2. Public Comments - None

3. Business Before the Committee

A. Review of Fiscal Year 2025 Budget

B. Circle Back Items

The following motions were made to amend the budget:

1. A motion by Alderman Bram, Seconded by Alderman Jensen to increase the total from $621,000 -822,000 for account number 1106061-570140 (Circle Back #4).

Ayes: Chris Jensen and Michael Bram

Nays: Emily Bastedo, Guido Nardini, Mike Brennan, Jacob Hill, Karen Sienko, Noel Talluto, Jim Nudera and Jennifer Veremis

2 Ayes, 8 Nays, 4 Absent

Motion Failed.

2. A motion by Alderman Bram, Seconded by Alderman Hill to add $150,000 to the total of $3,181,000 for account number 3302121-570270 (Circle Back #23).

Ayes:  Emily Bastedo, Guido Nardini, Jacob Hill, Karen Sienko and Michael Bram

Nayes: Mike Brennan, Jennifer Veremis, Chris Jensen, Noel Talluto, Jim Nudera and Scott Levin

5 Ayes, 6 Nays, 4 Absent

Motion Failed.

4. Adjournment - Alderman Talluto moved to adjourn the meeting. Alderman Nudera seconded. A voice vote was taken. Motion passed unanimously.

Meeting adjourned at 10:14pm.
